LDA Engineering invites you to join them to raise funds for the Future City Tennessee Regional Competition hosted each year in Knoxville. Future City is a non-profit project-based learning program where students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades imagine, research, design, and build cities of the future, competing in regional & state competition each year. LDA Engineering has proudly sponsored and served as the Regional Coordinator and Committee for the past 6 years, because we believe that educating future engineers is part of making stronger, happier communities.
This year’s golf tournament will raise funds for the 2024-2025 Future City Regional Competition. LDA invites all to come and participate and/or sponsor this tournament. Check out the sponsorship levels and player info below!

About Future City
The Future City Competition is a transformative, project-based learning experience that asks 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to imagine, design, and build cities of the future. Along the way, the students learn about engineering, develop their writing and public speaking skills, and apply math and science to real world issues. As part of the project process, students submit a project plan; design a virtual city using SimCity software which they present as a slideshow; write an essay describing their city; and create a physical model of their city using recycled materials. Teams compete in the Future City Tennessee competition in January; the winner of that competition then goes on to compete at the national level.
