CULTURE AT
THE LDA FAMILY OF COMPANIES
Our “why” is rooted deep in community. We take pride in creating the infrastructure that powers everyday life for those around us to build STRONGER. HAPPIER. COMMUNITIES. Our culture is guided by core values that convey and influence what we do, how we do it and who we are.
Dedication to our clients is matched only by our dedication to the communities in which we live and work. It’s in our DNA to move outside our walls and dedicate our time, support and expertise to several organizations.
Organizations we are actively involved with include STEM Scouts, Future City Competition, Clean Water Professionals of Kentucky & Tennessee, American Public Works Association (APWA), Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE), the Great Smoky Mountain Council of the Boy Scouts of America and more.
Our desire is to see more women enter engineering fields, have more local and national support for engineering professions and start a movement to focus on creativity in engineering to produce better, more sustainable results.
Through community service, LDA hopes to inspire the next generation to redefine a broader future of engineering.
“My daughter inspires me to find ways to get involved and cultivate an interest in engineering professions.” Jason Brooks, President and CEO

CURIOUS & COMMITTED
Building stronger, happier communities isn’t just a saying, it’s in our DNA. I started at LDA as a receptionist under previous management. During the course of my time working for Jason Brooks, I’ve grown to become a manager and company stock owner. Our company genuinely cares about every employee, is committed to my professional development and brings out the best in me. I have become emboldened to learn different areas of our business, including accounting, marketing and graphic design. Good people and passion for the results of your work will transform your career.

COMMITTED
LDA is COMMITTED to our clients, our projects, to the community and to each other. It’s great to be on a jobsite and see the impact of my work as engineer and problem solver. I think ownership is one of the keys that makes us all want to do better at LDA. We’ve been empowered. The level of experience and project management exposure for new employees – and even interns – at LDA offers growth you won’t find anywhere else, and that will have a lasting impact on what we contribute to our industry.
LDA is heavily involved in industry associations. We believe that innovative, future-driven infrastructure is a key component of economic growth and flourishing communities. Together with our peers and colleagues in related industries, we can achieve the creativity and collaboration necessary for future generations to enjoy stronger, happier communities.
We support these chambers of commerce as we believe in what they do to
support the communities where we live and work.
