Established as Lamar Dunn & Associates Inc. in 1982, LDA Engineering is an employee-owned engineering firm based in East Tennessee with offices in Johnson City, Knoxville and Chattanooga. The firm’s focus is on water, wastewater and stormwater engineering solutions for public and municipal clients as well as private businesses and developments.

LDA Engineering currently provides engineering and other related services for municipal water, wastewater and stormwater systems for the Cities of Oak Ridge, Morristown, Johnson City, Chattanooga, Kingsport, Knoxville Utilities Board in Tennessee and the City of Bristol, Virginia, among other clients throughout the service area.
LDA Engineering also works with private clients like Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) where they designed the first membrane water treatment plant in Tennessee winning national recognition from American Council of Engineering Companies. LDA Engineering also recently developed an Integrated Water Management Plan for LMU. The firm has provided services internationally receiving recognition for its water infrastructure solutions project at the Kirkuk Ring Road in Iraq.
