LDA Engineering was honored by the Tennessee Engineering Foundation and American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC Tennessee) at the 2025 Engineering Excellence Awards Gala for their work on four projects throughout the past year.
Held on November 10, 2025, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Nashville, the annual Engineering Excellence Awards highlight engineering companies that demonstrate innovative efforts to improve the community and world. Grand Awards were awarded to projects that stood out for their future value, as well as their social and economic impact.
In partnership with the City of Belle Meade, LDA earned the Grand Award, the highest honor given to projects, for its innovative work assisting the city in transitioning from a paper-based asset management system to an advanced digital model. This effort transformed how the City of Belle Meade records and manages data related to its underground sewer systems. The City of Belle Meade now has access to real-time digital results, allowing for more efficient and effective asset management.
“This recognition by the Tennessee Engineering Foundation and ACEC Tennessee is a true testament to the hard work and innovation of the LDA team as we strive to build stronger, happier communities,” said Zack Daniel, President of LDA Engineering. “We are committed to helping our clients advance the functionality of their communities.”
Several other LDA Engineering projects were also recognized at this year’s event including the 31st Avenue North Bikeway Improvement project in Nashville, BVU Water Treatment Plant Assessment and CIP Development project in Bristol, Virginia, and the West Walnut Street project in Johnson City, which developed a corridor connecting East Tennessee State University (ETSU) and downtown Johnson City.
