Construction for Phase 1 of a long-term improvement plan for the Alcoa Duck Pond has officially begun.
The improvements are expected to take approximately nine months and will result in a 10-foot-wide accessible walkway encircling the pond, rain gardens to provide filtration of storm runoff, and other area improvements. LDA Engineering provided survey, design, and permitting services for the improvement plan and is assisting in the construction inspections.
