The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Tennessee has awarded LDA Engineering an Engineering Excellence award for a project in Alcoa, Tennessee.
The American Council of Engineering Companies has awarded LDA Engineering and the City of Alcoa an Engineering Excellence award for work in Alcoa, Tennessee.
“We are so appreciative that the ACEC recognizes our commitment to excellence in our work,” said Jason Brooks, president and CEO of LDA Engineering. City of Alcoa Public Works Director Kenny Wiggins said“LDA Engineering staff has been very creative in their design of solutions for improvements to the Duck Pond area. We anticipate the finished project to be aesthetically pleasing, sustainable, economical, and beneficial to the Alcoa community.”
LDA Engineering won an Honor award for the Alcoa Duck Pond in Alcoa, Tenn. The project is aimed at addressing the severe bank erosion, increasing access to the pond, and improving water quality by creating two rain gardens.
