Stefanie Farrell, Senior Project Manager at LDA Engineering, has been named the Tennessee Delegate to the Water Environment Federation (WEF), a not-for-profit technical and educational organization of 35,000 individual members and 75 affiliate associations representing water quality professionals around the world.
WEF and its global network connect water quality professionals around the world with the latest in water quality education, training, and business opportunities. Its diverse membership includes scientists, engineers, regulators, academics, utility managers, plant operators, and other professionals.
As the delegate representing the Clean Water Professionals of Kentucky and Tennessee (formerly KY-TN WEA), Stefanie will contribute to the collective of knowledge and experience that WEF uses to further a shared goal of improving water worldwide. She will be part of the feedback loop on national issues and will have the opportunity to represent the region in topic specific workgroups.
The announcement of Stefanie’s appointment was made by the past president of the Clean Water Professionals of Kentucky and Tennessee’s annual conference in August. Stefanie brings a broad range of experience to the role, having been a utility manager, regulator, and consultant during her career as a water professional.
